The Education Department offers a minor in education which is a sequential program designed to enable qualified students to enter teaching at the elementary and secondary levels.

What is an Education Minor?

A sequential program designed to enable qualified students to enter teaching at the elementary and secondary levels.  Students graduating with a minor in education from R-MC will be certified to teach in one or more of the following:

  • Elementary Education PK-6
  • Secondary Education 6-12 (Endorsement areas: English, history and social sciences, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics. Foreign Language Endorsement PK-12 in French, German, Spanish and Latin)
  • Special Education K-12
  • Music K-12
