About R-MC’s eSports Program
eSports, a form of computer-based competition across a variety of video games that showcase gaming strategy, speed and skillful execution, is thriving at Randolph-Macon College. “The growth of eSports and intercollegiate competition has been astronomical in just a few short years, “says James McGhee, assistant dean of students at Randolph-Macon College and a member of the board of directors of NACE. “I cannot begin to express how proud we are of the accomplishments of our eSports athletes, staff, and program overall.”
“eSports allows you to tap into our competitive drive,” says Gunnerson. Students on our teams have been highly successful at all levels because they work hard together to create an amazing culture of community and sportsmanship.”
