Welcome Week starts as New Student Orientation winds down and runs from Saturday, September 5 – Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Step into a new academic year filled with possibility, connection, and adventure at Randolph-Macon College! Whether you’re arriving on campus for the very first time or returning to your Yellow Jacket home, Welcome Week 2026 is designed to help you set your journey in motion—with purpose and excitement.

On each scheduled day, you will see events marked as either a Toolbox Staple or Cornerstone Event:

• Cornerstone Events are programs designed to help you maximize your Welcome Week Experience! Also, you can win some amazing prizes by attending Cornerstone Events and scanning in with your RMC Event Pass.
• You will also see events labelled Toolbox Staple. Don’t sleep on these events and opportunities. They are excellent ways to connect, engage, and access valuable services that will make your experience at RMC amazing!

What to Expect

Welcome Week celebrates the dynamic energy of our student body and the transformative power of the RMC experience. Throughout the week, you’ll discover opportunities to:

• Connect with fellow Yellow Jackets, staff, and faculty through engaging social events, team activities, and shared traditions.
• Explore essential campus resources that will support your academic, personal, and professional success.
• Learn how to navigate your college experience with confidence, curiosity, and creativity.
• Get Involved by discovering student organizations, leadership opportunities, and ways to make an impact in your community.

From Live and Unexpected to the Activities Carnival and beyond, every event is a chance to build friendships, find your place, and create unforgettable memories.

RMC Event Pass

The Event Pass is a digital QR code that is tied to your unique student profile and works across all SEC-sponsored events throughout the academic year. 

All students can access their Event Pass through The Buzz and add it to their Apple or Google Wallet. Find your Event Pass by signing in to The Buzz, clicking your profile icon in the top right corner, and selecting the blue QR code icon. From there, simply add it to your digital wallet.
