On Connect Day, you’ll continue building something bigger by getting to know campus and linking with the people and traditions that make Randolph-Macon feel like home. Join a Welcome Ambassador-led campus tour to get to know your new home, cheer on the Yellow Jackets Men’s Soccer team, or hop on a shuttle to Target or Walmart to pick up a few essentials. Cool off with classmates at the annual Class Splash & Sizzle, and then end the day with ThinkFast® Game Show, a high-energy, interactive competition where the entire audience becomes contestants. Play on your own or team up with friends as you race against the clock, climb the leaderboard, and compete for exciting prizes—including cash. It’s the perfect way to make new memories and strengthen the connections that will support you throughout your Randolph-Macon journey.

Get to know campus before classes begin with RMC Hidden Gems: Welcome Ambassador Campus Tours! Join our friendly Welcome Ambassadors for a guided walk around campus, where you’ll locate common campus buildings, popular spaces, and learn about some of RMC’s favorite hidden spots along the way. Whether you’re looking to feel more confident navigating campus or just want to meet other students, this tour is a great way to start the semester. Tours depart from the Andrews Hall Lobby at both 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Get On Board: Target & Walmart Shuttles
Need to stock up on essentials? During Welcome Week, the Student Engagement Center is offering shuttle service to Walmart and Target to help you pick up groceries, residence hall supplies, and other necessities. The shuttle to Walmart departs at 3:00 p.m., and the shuttle to Target departs at 4:00 p.m. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early to secure your spot and make the most of this convenient opportunity to get settled into campus life.

Class Splash & Sizzle
Cool off and kick back at Class Splash & Sizzle, a high-energy evening designed to bring the campus community together through fun, food, and friendly competition. Challenge yourself on the giant water slide and inflatable obstacle course, enjoy games and activities with classmates, and make lasting memories as you celebrate the start of the year. Gather for a campus-wide dinner featuring a Low Country Seafood Boil, fresh salads, sweet treats, and a variety of delicious food stations. Whether you’re racing through the course, relaxing with friends, or meeting someone new, Class Splash & Sizzle is the perfect way to end the day with excitement and connection.
