Our students, faculty, and staff are actively engaged in the local community, participating in volunteering, community-based learning, and research efforts to build connections and create lasting change. At our core, we are a compassionate and driven community dedicated to making a positive impact in the world around us with the collective aim to advance social progress. Our program is called SERVE, supported by the Student Engagement Center.

volunteer opportunities
The SERVE Program at Randolph-Macon College opens doors to dynamic service and service learning opportunities, empowering students to make a meaningful difference.

Goals
Our program aims to provide participants with a holistic learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom settings. Through our service and service-learning opportunities, we seek to broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of social issues by examining their root causes and context.
We hope to foster a greater sense of empathy and consideration for the welfare of others, while also emphasizing the interconnectedness of our society on a global scale. Additionally, we aim to cultivate a greater appreciation for the rich diversity of cultures and human experiences, while encouraging participants to reflect on the impact of their engagement with service and service-learning opportunities.
Programs and Activities
