Special Presentation Honors International Students
On November 30, 2018, Randolph-Macon President Robert R. Lindgren presented seven RMC international students with special crystal globes to honor them as Davis United World College (UWC) Scholars. Davis UWC Scholars are exceptional students who graduated from a UWC high school and then matriculated at selected U.S. colleges or universities. The presentation took place in Brock Commons, RMC’s student center.

A Vibrant International Community
International students enrich the life of the college in many ways.
“Since 2009, RMC has hosted 17 UWC students from every corner of the world, and this year we welcomed the largest number of UWC students,” says Mayumi Nakamura, assistant director of international education at Randolph-Macon College. “International students add to the vibrancy of campus life. With their diverse backgrounds and positive attitudes, they are a terrific addition to the Randolph-Macon family.”
