Randolph-Macon College recruited and hired 18 talented teacher-scholars to join the faculty at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year. These educators come to RMC from across the academic landscape and join a campus of faculty and staff dedicated to mentoring students and scholarship.

Robert Quillen Camp joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Theatre. He earned his B.A. from Reed College, his M.F.A. from Brown University, and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Brendan Davidson joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and Political Science. He earned his B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado, his M.P.A. from the University of Colorado Denver, and his Ph.D. from Colorado State University.

Javonna Friend joins the RMC faculty as a Lecturer in Communication Studies. She earned her B.A. from Virginia State University and her M.A. and Ph.D. from George Mason University.

Adrienne Godschalx joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology. She earned her B.A. from Western Oregon University and her Ph.D. from Portland State University.

Hannah Hiscott joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Physics, Engineering, and Astrophysics. She earned her B.S. from the University of Virginia and her M.Eng. and Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.

Kyndra Jackson joins the RMC faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. She earned her BSN from Clemson University and her M.S., MPH, and D.N.P. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Kimberlee Ketchersid joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia, her MMSc from the Emory University School of Medicine, and her DMSc from the University of Pittsburgh.

Hyun Jung Kong joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Asian Studies. She earned her B.A. from Sookmyung Women’s University, her M.A. from Seoul National University, and her Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University.

James Scott Lyons joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Japanese Studies. He earned his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, his M.A. from Kyoto University, and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ifeosa Nkem-Onyekpe joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of History. She earned her B.A. from the University of Lagos and her Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Matthew Previto joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics and Archaeology. He earned his B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton, an M.A. from Columbia University, an M.A. from Brandeis University, and his Ph.D. from Stanford University.

Brandon Randolph-Seng joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business, Economics, and Accounting. He earned his B.S. from Weber State University, his M.S. from Georgia State University, and his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University.

Randy Shoemaker joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science. He earned his A.S. from Blue Ridge Community College, his B.S. from James Madison University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the College of William & Mary.

Nicholette St. Martin ’20 joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry. She earned her B.S. from Randolph-Macon College and her Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Anca Turcu joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Political Science. She earned her B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Qianyi Wang joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. She earned her B.A. from Zhejiang University. and her Ph.D. from Georgia State University.

Alexander Will joins the RMC faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science. He earned his B.S. and Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Asiye Zeytonli joins the RMC faculty as an Assistant Professor of Business. She earned her B.S. from Amirkabir University of Technology, her MBA from Sharif University of Technology, and her Ph.D. from West Virginia University.
