Dana Peles ('06) Dana obtained her Ph.D. from Duke University and is completing a post-doctoral fellowship at GlaxoSmithKline in Raleigh, NC.

Sarah Crider ('05) Sarah received her Ph.D. from Duke University and is an instructor and Head Girls Basketball Coach at The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ.
Daryl Guthrie ('05) Daryl is working on his Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University.
Nicki Kennedy Zorch ('05) Nicki is a patent attorney at the firm of Roberts, Mlotkowski, Safran, and Cole P.C.
Ryan Smith ('05) Ryan will attend law school in the fall '06.
Caleb Strepka ('05) Caleb obtained his Ph. D. from Penn State in May 2010 and is currently working for the Department of Defense at Ft. Belvoir.
Ryan Woodcock ('05) Ryan is a faculty member in the Department of Biology at Randolph-Macon College.
Casey Bryant, MD ('04) Casey graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and is now completing his residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
Andrew Higgins ('04) Andrew is a dentist with the US Navy and is stationed at Pearl Harbor. He is married to Sam Hopkins, '06.
Christeen Hodge ('03) Christeen is a medical student in Uniformed Armed Services medical school.
Kristie Norman ('03) Kristie is currently in the D.Pharm. program at VCU.
Kirsten Clarke ('03) Kirsten is in the pediatric nursing program at the Medical College of Virginia.
Erynn McKenzie ('03) Erynn is in medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Lisa Gray ('03) Lisa graduated from medical school in May 2008, completed her internship in Cleveland, OH and is currently in Chicago working on her 3rd year of general surgical residency. She also recently married her husband Richard, a classmate from medical school.
Tom Ridder ('02) Tom is attending medical school at the Medical College of Virginia.
Melanie Rowson ('02) Melanie graduated from medical school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in May 2007. She has recently begin a new career path in Integrative Psychiatry specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.

Kassy Mies ('02) Kassy is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.
Heather Lucas ('02) Heather is pursuing a Ph. D. at John's Hopkins.

Randy Austin ('00) Randy is currently working for a biotech company in the San Francisco area.
Chrystal Eller ('00) Chrissy graduated from Hahnemann medical school in Philadelphia and is currently doing her residency at Wake Forest.
Robert Heath ('00) Robert teaches chemistry and physics at William Campbell High School in Naruna, VA. He also coaches girls tennis team for the Generals and is the assistant soccer coach for the RMWC Wildcats in Lynchburg.
Kenya Jones ('00) Kenya attends Pharmacy school at the Medical College of Virginia.
Rebecca Wallace ('00) Rebecca attends vet school at Virginia Tech.
Emily Spede (Weber) ('00) Emily received a nursing degree from John's Hopkins and is currently working as an Emergency Room RN in Baltimore, MD.
Carrie Crooks (Winkler) ('00) Carrie works at the McDonogh School in Baltimore teaching chemistry and also coaches lacrosse and soccer. She, her husband Jon and daughter Grace currently reside in Towson, MD.
Chapman Wright ('00) Chappie graduate with a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Delaware.
M. Scott Newman ('99) Scott graduate from the Pharmacy Degree Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. He manages 2 Rite-Aid stores in Chesapeake, VA.
Cynthia Norris ('99) Cindy has obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill, and now works at the Navel Research Lab.
Thomas Pluim II ('99) Tom graduated from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, with an M.D., in May 2003. He then completed an Internship in Pediatrics at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) in June 2004. Currently he is completing his Residency in Pediatrics at NMCP, and was recently named Chief Resident for the academic year 2005-2006. Additionally, he has two beautiful girls, Hannah (5/27/02) and Elizabeth (1/20/05).

Diana Skinner Almy ('98) Diana is an orthodontist, and is currently building a practice in Massaponax, VA.
Sheri Bodoloski ('98) Sheri obtained her Ph.D. from Georgetown University and is currently employed by the FBI.
Leah Eller ('98) Leah obtained her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She did postdoctoral studies at Oak Ridge National Lab and is currently a visiting assistant professor at Elizabethtown College in PA.
Kristin Blower ('97) Kristin is currently employed at DuPont in Delaware in the Chemical Discovery/Emerging Technologies Group of the Agricultural Products Division.
Randall Geldreich ('97) Randy received his M.D. from UVA, and is now working in emergency medicine at MCV.
April Hennis Marchetti ('97) April obtained her Ph.D. in chemistry from Penn State University in 2001. She is currently a faculty member in the department of chemistry at R-MC.
Eugene Insley ('97) Gene is a high school teacher at Bethel High School in Hampton Virginia.
Kari Whitmore ('97) Kari was recently promoted to Senior Assistant Chemist at DuPont Agricultural Products in Newark, Delaware. She is a member of the Combinatorial Chemistry group within the Emerging Technologies Group in Chemical Discovery.
Meg Brinkskelle Burgin ('96) Meg graduated from dental school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and currently practices in North Carolina.
Kimberly Brittingham ('95) Kim graduated from Iowa State University in 2000 with a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry.
R. Carroll Douglas ('93) Carroll is a manager at Reynolds Metals Company.
Lori Nixon Snidow ('93) Lori is currently a commissioned officer in the US Public Health Service practicing hospital based dentistry at the WW Hastings Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Steven Dodd ('92) Steven is a chemist at PPD Pharmco Analytical Laboratories in Richmond, Virginia.
Lori McCain Taylor ('92) Lori is currently a doctor in the Virginia Beach area.
Benjamin Caldwell ('90) Ben is currently a Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Dean of the Graduate School at Missouri Western State College.

Graduates before 1990:

Wing Tong ('89) Wing earned her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and currently works for the National Institutes of Health.
Gerald Capps ('88) Gerald is currently a radiologist in the great Richmond area.
Doug Baxter ('88) Doug is currently employed by Tyson Foods as an Area Environmental Manager covering Tyson's east coast and international locations.
Rebecca (Byrd) Swan ('86) Rebecca received her M.D. from MCV and is now an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University. Her My main role is director of the pediatric residency program. She and her husband have two children, Noah and Ella.
Bradley Cooper ('85) Bradley is a Forensic Scientist in the San Francisco area.
Louis E. (Butch) Kuykendall, Jr. ('82) Butch earned an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado - Boulder and the M.Div. degree from Duke University. He is currently the Senior Pastor at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
Don McGonegal ('82) Don continues on active duty military service as a Navy Dental Corps officer. Currently the Endodontics Department Head for 12th Dental Company, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. He and wife Amy, Preschool Director of First UMC Havelock, enjoy the privilege of serving America’s finest young men and women in uniform and their families. Macey White ('82) After graduating, Macey received a Ph. D. in inorganic chemistry and worked at Dupont for 9 years as an analytical chemist and as an aerospace engineer. Macey is currently a bail bondsman in central and eastern VA and loves it!
Peter de B. Harrington ('80) Peter is the director of Ohio University's Forensic Chemistry Program and Director of the Center for Intelligent Chemical Instrumentation. He also works extensively with the National Institutes of Health.
Don McClamroch ('77) Don is a forensic chemist with the U.S. government.
E. B. Quarles ('49) E. B. worked for the Health Dept for a few years and then for Hercules at Radford Arsenal as a Project Manager for Engineering Programs involving solid rockets and polypropylene. He retired in Oct. 1986. He has been married for 56 years, has 4 wonderful children, and enjoys golf and travel.
