Select and complete either the Common App or Randolph-Macon College Application. You only need to complete one, not both. Both applications are free of cost.
Ask your secondary school to send an official copy of your transcript along with copies of additional documents like diplomas or exam scores (i.e. GCE ‘O’ Level or ‘A’ Level exams, HKCEE, HKALE, National Entrance Exam, or SAECE) to the Office of Admissions at admissions@rmc.edu. Please provide a certified translation of all documents not originally written in English.
All transcripts from non-U.S. institutions must also be submitted for an academic credential evaluation to obtain equivalency information regarding courses, credits, grades, and degrees earned. A general document-by-document report is sufficient, and must include GPA. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make arrangements for the evaluation.
Each company may have different requirements regarding document submission. An official copy of the completed evaluation should be sent from the company directly to Randolph-Macon College. For convenience, we’ve listed a few companies who evaluate international credentials and who RMC international applicants have worked with in the past. A complete list of qualified companies may be found at www.naces.org.
*Recommended for transfer students. A custom evaluation link is offered for RMC.
Note that UWC – United World College Davis Scholar applicants are not required to submit a transcript evaluation.
The recommendation should be from a teacher, counselor, principal, or headmaster. It should also be submitted directly from the person writing the recommendation.
For students whose first language is not English or have not attended an English-speaking institution, Randolph-Macon College accepts the following exams from international applicants: SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo.
