A Notice to Students and FacultY

The schedule of courses for the Fall 2026 and January 2027 terms will be available via MyMaconWeb (MMW) on Wednesday, April 15th.

Registration will begin Wednesday, April 22nd via MMW.

Each student must receive ADVISOR CLEARANCE to select fall/January courses. Students will NOT be able to register for classes until this clearance is granted by their advisor. Please work with your academic advisor about meeting to obtain advisor clearance.

Registration Dates for Fall 2026 and January 2027

Students can find their classification listed on MMW (Student > Academics). Note that student classification is determined based on earned credits (credits in which you are currently enrolled do not apply).

Advisors can find the classifications of their advisees on MMW (Academics > Advisor > Advisee Classification Report).

All registration windows open at 7:30 a.m. on the designated day.

• Once a student’s registration window is open, it will remain open for adding and dropping fall semester and J-term courses through Thursday, June 4. From June 5– June 30, MMW will be locked and current RMC students will be unable to make any changes to their Fall ’26 or J-term ’27 course schedules. MMW will reopen beginning July 1 and remain open through Friday, September 11 for fall schedule changes and through Wednesday, January 6 for J-term schedule changes.
• Students will be able to register for up to 17 credit hours in the fall semester and up to 4 credit hours in the January term during their initial registration window. Students will be permitted to register for additional credit hours beginning August 3. Please remember, an additional per-credit overload fee is charged for enrolling in more than 18 credit hours in the fall or spring term and for enrolling in more than 7 credit hours in January term. 

What will stop a student from registering?

• The student has not been given clearance. Students should check with their advisor for this clearance. The Registrar’s office will neither override clearance nor grant clearance for advisors.
• The student’s class window for registration may not be open. Be sure to check the schedule for appropriate dates. Students can find their classification listed on MMW (Student > Academics). Advisors can find the classifications of their advisees on MMW (Academics > Advisor > Advisee Classification Report)
• The requested course has a time conflict. 
• The student does not meet the catalog stated prerequisites.
• The course is full.
• The student has an outstanding financial obligation to the Business Office.

Summer courses at RMC

As a reminder, RMC offers two 4-week summer terms – classes are offered online and asynchronously. Registration occurs on MyMaconWeb. Remember that courses taken at other colleges and universities transfer credit hours only. Thus, summer courses at RMC offer a great opportunity to improve academic standing and get ahead.
