Full-time status considerations:
Athletic Participation – Students participating in intercollegiate athletics must maintain full-time enrollment while engaging in any athletically related activities with the coaching staff, including practices and competitions. Direct questions to the Assistant Athletic Director at MKGeratowski@rmc.edu.
Academic Probation – Students on academic probation must maintain full-time enrollment and may not fall below 12 credit hours without prior approval from the Registrar at registrar@rmc.edu.
Billing – Students who plan to enroll part-time should consult with the Business Office at StudentAccounts@rmc.edu to understand the implications on billing.
Financial Aid – Students must be full-time to maintain financial aid eligibility. They must also meet “Satisfactory Academic Progress” requirements to remain eligible for aid in the next academic year. Before dropping or withdrawing from a course, consult the Financial Aid Office at financial-aid@rmc.edu to understand how enrollment changes may affect aid.
Health Insurance, Auto Insurance, and Good Driver Discount – Enrollment verification for insurance purposes may be requested at any time during the semester. Students enrolled in fewer than 12 credit hours will be verified as part-time. Direct questions to the Registrar’s Office at registrar@rmc.edu.
International Students – Students on an F-1 or J-1 visa must maintain full-time enrollment and may not fall below 12 credit hours without prior approval from the Designated School Official (DSO) at BayleighDyer@rmc.edu.
Residence Halls – Students must be full-time to reside in college housing. Any student who lives in college housing and is enrolled in fewer than 12 credit hours must obtain permission from the Director of Residence Life and Housing at ResidenceLife@rmc.edu.
Student Organizations – Students should consult directly with the organizations in which they participate to confirm whether maintaining full-time enrollment is required for continued membership or leadership roles.
