Rob Young
Rob Young joined Randolph-Macon in the role of Vice President for Administration and Finance in 2024, overseeing the College’s business and finance operations, as well as the areas of Human Resources, Physical Plant, Information Technology Services, and the Campus Store. Previously, he held the same role at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio for six years and served as CFO and a key member of leadership at his alma mater, Hendrix College in Arkansas, for ten years.
Young has also served in several leadership roles in the private sector. These include time spent as a chief financial officer at a privately held technology company, a financial executive and operational consultant, and as an audit senior accountant and staff accountant at Deloitte & Touche, LLP – all in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Young earned his B.A. in economics and business with an emphasis in accounting at Hendrix College where he graduated magna cum laude with distinction. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Arkansas.
