Study Abroad & International Education

In a world that is ever more interconnected and interdependent, the OIE facilitates connections between R-MC and the global community. Whether you want to venture far from home or explore opportunities for global learning here at R-MC, the Office of International Education will help you learn, grow, and challenge yourself in new ways.

Today, more than ever, the OIE remains committed to education abroad. We believe that learning to navigate another culture prepares our students for success and at the same time promotes global understanding. We acknowledge, however, that students and their loved ones may experience some anxiety in light of world events. The OIE encourages students and families to take advantage of the information found on the Resources for Travelers page so that students can do everything they can to ensure their safety and security as they study abroad.

We are excited to announce the Meade Family Scholarship! All students studying abroad during J-term 2018 or spring 2018 are encouraged to apply - see our Scholarships page for more info!

Important announcement to students who are registered for the J-term 2018 study/travel courses to Cuba:

Please read this letter (also sent to you) carefully, and if you decide to stay enrolled in the courses, return the signed form to the Office of International Education (OIE) in Haley Hall as soon as possible, but no later than October 25.
