CASE’s Circle of Excellence Awards are considered the premier recognition program for educational advancement. The awards are peer-selected and adjudicated, and celebrate colleges, universities, and schools worldwide for advancing their institutions with resourcefulness and ingenuity.

The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies. Randolph-Macon received recognition for creative work completed by Video and Interactive Media Specialist Nick Ruxton, alongside then-Student Videographer Chris Kendall ’23 in its “Educational Institution – Social Video” category.

“These projects were all conceived to highlight what makes Randolph-Macon special: the broad, up-close experiences that students carry with them into their future success. We were proud of each, and it is so gratifying to see them recognized externally,” noted Vice President for Marketing and Communications Beth Campbell.

Of the website in particular, Campbell added: “This was a complicated and comprehensive project, and Senior Director of Digital Strategy Brent Hoard and I relied on a huge team effort and a large number of collaborators to bring it to the world. That partnership deserves special attention—it was a key ingredient of success.”
