Volunteers Needed: Sign up Now for The Big Event
Randolph-Macon College will celebrate its fourth-annual The Big Event on November 4, 2018. This one-day community service project gives RMC students, faculty, staff and alumni the opportunity to give back to the community through a variety of service projects, from weeding to painting to landscaping.
Sign Up, Help Others
Students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families are encouraged to sign up to volunteer for The Big Event. “This is a great way to include the whole family in a day of service,” says Jayme Watkins, director of Student Life. For more information about The Big Event, contact Watkins at jaymewatkins@rmc.edu.
Giving Back
Throughout the years, the Town of Ashland has shown tremendous support to RMC students. The college’s Students Engaged in Responsible Volunteer Experiences (SERVE) program strives to give back to the community through a variety of ways, including The Big Event. Watkins oversees a variety of Student Life operations, including the SERVE program.
