Flippo Gallery Hosts Richmond Artists’ Group Exhibition
Randolph-Macon College’s Flippo Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of work from the Richmond Artists’ Group (RAG), a loose collection of artists formed in the mid-’90s to discuss matters of making art. The exhibition includes works by Tom Adair, Andras Bality, Gregg Carbo, Stephen Clark, Don Crow, David Kohan, Kunga Nyima Drotos, Louis Poole, Diego Sanchez, and the late Bill Fisher.
The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will run through October 12. Flippo Gallery is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Map and Directions
Kristen Peyton, director and curator of the Flippo Gallery, says, “The work featured in RAG:2018 is diverse in both style and medium; yet, a camaraderie of shared experience ties the show together in a fraternal unity, as each work garners context through a shared group identity.”
The exhibition is sponsored by the Committee on Assemblies and Special Events (CASE).
