RMC Celebrates Juneteenth with Staff Holiday Friday, Celebration Saturday
Randolph-Macon College is closed in celebration of Juneteenth on Friday, June 18. On June 19, the College welcomes the community for a Celebration of Black culture at Fountain Plaza.

When: June 19, 3-4:30 PM
Where: Frank Brown Fountain Plaza and Brock Commons
What: Join us for a short program including:
- Remarks from RMC President Robert R. Lindgren, Hanover County Black Heritage Society board member Phyllis Winston Holloway, and Dr. Kenneth White ’12
- Music from Linae Branch and Izrael Wortham
Then, enjoy:
- Miss Ammie’s desserts from RVA Around the Table
- Make your own Juneteenth-themed art
- A screening of the documentary short “Hair Love” in the Suntrust Theater
