Randolph-Macon College remains one the nation’s premier institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company highlighted RMC in their guidebook, “The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition,” which features just the top 15% of America’s four-year colleges.

In addition to being named one of the country’s best colleges, Randolph-Macon was also listed as a “Best Mid-Atlantic” school and rose in several ranked categories derived from student surveys. Those lists include the No. 13 spot for Best Science Lab Facilities, No. 15 for Best Career Services, No. 20 Friendliest Students, and No. 19 for Town-Gown Relations, which measures how well students get along with the local community.

In its profile of the College, The Princeton Review praised RMC’s “exceptional liberal arts education” and its “focus on producing successful, well-rounded students.” In particular, it pointed to Randolph-Macon’s professors, who “incorporate innovative pedagogy” and the Edge Career Center’s personalized career roadmaps.

The student surveys also highlighted RMC’s more than 100 student organizations and clubs, noting “there are plenty of ways to be active on campus.” In terms of campus life, RMC is described as familial, a place “where current students, previous students, and community members gather to celebrate being Yellow Jackets.”

Additionally, the publication noted RMC’s honors program and culture of community service, and described the College as a place where “the courtesy is endless.”
