Princeton Review Names RMC One of Nation’s Best 391 Colleges
Randolph-Macon College remains a premier institution for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company highlighted RMC in their guidebook, “The Best 391 Colleges: 2026 Edition,” which features only about 15% of the four-year colleges in the United States.
In addition to being named one of the country’s best colleges, Randolph-Macon also earned recognition on several top lists derived from student surveys. RMC ranked No. 5 for Town-Gown Relations, which measures how well students get along with the local community, as well as No. 12 for Best Career Services, No. 14 for Best Science Lab Facilities, and No. 18 for Friendliest Students.
In its profile of the College, The Princeton Review commended RMC’s “exceptional liberal arts education.” It particularly lauded the Edge Career Center, the College’s four-year career preparation program, for providing advising, career roadmaps, and internship opportunities.
Moreover, the profile praised Randolph-Macon for producing well-rounded students with a “purposeful general education curriculum that requires courses across many subject areas, and a ‘capstone’ experience that shows students to be ready for employment or graduate school.”
