Art Exhibition: “Zed’s Zed”
Randolph-Macon College is hosting “Zed’s Zed,” an exhibition by Aggie Zed, in Flippo Gallery, Pace-Armistead Hall (211 N. Center St.). The exhibition runs through December 13, 2019. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Map and Directions
This exhibition includes paintings, drawings, ceramics and mixed metal works by Virginia artist Aggie Zed. Zed’s work interweaves the imaginative possibilities of dreams, invention, and the supposed rationality of human activity through a diverse range of media: paintings, drawings, intimately scaled human and animal ceramic figures, and metal. “Zed’s Zed” presents a series of works important to the artist: visual touchstones and signposts of her continued artistic exploration.
Flippo Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or by appointment. Contact Kathryn Henry-Choisser at kathrynhenrychoisser@rmc.edu for more information or to request an appointment. (Note: The gallery will be closed Nov. 27-29.)
