Nov. 14: “Evolution and Creation: Conflicting or Compatible?”
Patricia H. Kelley, professor emerita of geology from UNC-Wilmington, will present “Evolution and Creation: Conflicting or Compatible?” at 7 p.m. on November 14, 2019 in Room 100 in Randolph-Macon College’s Copley Science Center (304 Caroline St.).

Kelley will explore whether evolution conflicts with religious views of creation, or whether there is a valid way to reconcile the two. Kelley will also examine the Biblical creation accounts and creationist approaches such as Intelligent Design to assess the compatibility of evolution with faith-based perspectives.
