May 6: Richmond Symphony to Perform at RMC
The Richmond Symphony Orchestra will perform at Randolph-Macon College on May 6, 2018 at 3 p.m. in Blackwell Auditorium, RMC Center for the Performing Arts (205 Henry St.). Map and Directions
Under the direction of Associate Conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin, the RSO will perform J.C. Bach’s Symphony in B-flat Major, Op. 18, No. 2, Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, J.C. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 (Classical).
Bonus: RMC Music Professor James Doering will lead a pre-concert lecture with an RSO conductor prior to the concert. This event is free of charge and takes place at 2 p.m. in the Brock Commons SunTrust Theater (304 Henry St.).
