Limited Attendance to be Permitted at Outdoor Athletic Events

In accordance with state and ODAC guidelines, Randolph-Macon College is pleased to be able to allow limited attendance at outdoor athletic contests in the spring of 2021.

For indoor sports (basketball, swimming, and volleyball), per ODAC COVID-19 guidelines, spectators are still prohibited from attending indoor competition.

Per the Governor’s Executive Order, each venue is limited to 30% capacity, which means each contest attendance policy may be unique. Randolph-Macon will space guests in pairs throughout the venues, in order to continue to protect the health and safety of our community. Two tickets will be reserved for families of our student athletes, with the remainder of available space allocated to a limited group of student supporters and, where applicable, to members of the Yellow Jacket Club. For more details on the policy as it applies to each venue and guidelines on attendance rules, visit the Spectator Policy on rmcathletics.com.

Details on student ticket availability will be shared through social media @rmcathletics.

RMC’s student body and alumni network has continued to support Yellow Jackets athletics throughout this season. To watch virtually from the comfort of home:

  • Select your desired team from the yellow “sports” tab at the top of the page
  • Select “schedule” to locate up-to-date games information
  • Select the “video icon” to connect

In keeping with these guidelines, fans of visiting schools will not be permitted to attend games on the RMC campus. Pre- and post-game tailgates also remain prohibited.
