Generosity Extraordinaire: RMC Alumni Giving Ranked in the Nation’s Top 25
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s annual survey has ranked Randolph-Macon College alumni participation in the Top 25 in the nation for the fifth consecutive year. “Alumni participation” measures the percentage of alumni who make a gift during the given year. In 2019, RMC was ranked #22 overall (with 33 percent participation) and #3 in Virginia—a testimony to the astonishing generosity of Yellow Jackets everywhere.
Alumni participation is essential to the college’s fiscal health. Alumni gifts help RMC continue its tradition of providing a robust liberal arts education and a college experience like no other.
Gifts from alumni help RMC achieve national rankings, bolster the college’s reputation as a world-class institution, and serve as a reminder that giving back is the best kind of forward-thinking. “Gifts of any size not only increase overall donor participation, but also speak volumes, most especially to our prospective students and parents, about the value and gratitude our alumni continue to find in this special place,” says President Robert Lindgren.
