Beth Campbell Promoted to Vice President for Marketing and Communications

Randolph-Macon College President Robert R. Lindgren is pleased to announce the promotion of Beth Campbell to Vice President for Marketing and Communications for Randolph-Macon College, effective July 1, 2023.
Campbell joined RMC in February 2021 as Associate Vice President, and immediately undertook the strengthening of the College’s marketing and communications efforts, providing a laser-like focus on significantly improving communication and outreach to prospective students and families. She has recruited strong new members of her team to join solid professionals in place.
“Together with these colleagues, Beth has collaborated very effectively with our enrollment staff, particularly in her excellent partnership with our respective leaders in admissions and financial aid, first David Lesesne, then Doug White and now with Brenda Poggendorf,” Lindgren said.
Campbell has helped craft important leadership messages for the College, starting with COVID-19 communications. She championed a comprehensive review of RMC’s brand and reputation with important audiences and has since led the crafting of a thoughtful and prudent long-term brand strategy for the College. In addition to collaborating effectively with partners across campus, Campbell has quickly developed the broad respect of the Board of Trustees and, likewise, high regard from external leaders in the higher education marketing and communications sector relevant to RMC.
“She has accomplished all of this with a positive, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude that is profoundly contagious,” Lindgren said. “In short, this well-deserved promotion reflects my confidence in Beth and her many contributions already in a very key area for our institution, while underscoring the critical role her leadership is destined to have in our future success.”
