Brian Coffill, RMC music faculty

Music: “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” with the Coffill Family Singers

Brian joined the RMC music faculty in 2018, as its first Director of Instrumental Ensembles. He created and conducts the R-M Ensemble, the college’s first chamber orchestra, as well as a new jazz ensemble. He also teaches courses in music theory, arranging, music technology, and music education. Originally from Connecticut, Brian holds degrees from the University of Connecticut, the University Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Maryland. A big baseball fan, his research includes the intersections of music and baseball.
