For a Q&A session with Ken Stiles

 

Kenneth Stiles received a B.A. in history from Randolph-Macon in 1981and earned his master’s degree from Old Dominion University in 1988. He worked for the Central Intelligence Agency for 29 years as an imagery analyst, a societal issues analyst, and a GIS expert. During his tenure at the CIA, he was actively involved in counterterrorism operations around the world and was awarded the CIA’s Career Commendation Medal. After he retired from the CIA, he taught courses at Virginia Tech and worked with Virginia Tech’s Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology, the Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence, and the Presidential Global Scholars program.
