friendly competition (or is it?)

Intramurals at RMC are serious business. A seriously fun way to make some friends, enjoy some friendly competition, and win a t-shirt, if not a spot on the coveted Wall of Champions.

A wide variety of intramural sports promote a healthy lifestyle for students (and faculty and staff, who get in on the fun) in which all persons can participate regardless of their degree of athletic ability.

Our successful intramurals program depends heavily on student involvement in the planning, operation, and assessment of events. Students are encouraged to participate as officials, referees, scorekeepers, timers, competitors, and members of the Student Intramural Board. These opportunities are significant for student development – completing the academic and co-curricular programs of the college.

RMC Intramurals pride themselves in enforcing the rules to create a safe and effective environment for everyone. Have any questions on the rules of the game? Refer to the handbook. All participants of intramurals are held to the standards of these rules. Captains and referees receive the rule book at the meetings prior to the seasons.

Club Sports

Randolph-Macon also offers club sports. Clubs are initiated and run by students, with support and supervision from staff in Brock Sports and Recreation Center, volunteer faculty, and staff advisors.
