The RMC Equestrian Center is owned and operated by Randolph-Macon College and is home to RMC’s IHSA and Eventing teams. Located less than 10 minutes west of campus, the facility features an indoor arena, two outdoor arenas, and 75 acres of lush pasture.

Whether your interests lie in showing or just learning more about your horse-and-rider connection, the RMC Equestrian Center has what students need to learn to ride and care for their horses in a friendly and wholesome environment.

Our exceptional staff are here to care for your horse and our accomplished trainers teach the fundamentals of riding and showing at all levels from Short Stirrup to the Medals, from Beginner Novice through the FEI levels.

The RMC Equestrian Center also hosts VHSA- and CHSA-sanctioned horse shows throughout the year.

Horseback Riding for the Community

Interscholastic Equestrian Association Team

Since 2014, the Randolph-Macon Equestrian Center IEA Team has provided middle and high school student riders with the opportunity to gain experience in the show ring in a variety of competitive settings, and to develop skills that will be essential to compete at the collegiate IHSA level.
