Friday, October 23

12 p.m. | Legacy Planning & Smart Giving Luncheon

  • Location: Estes Dining Hall, Walker Lounge (2nd floor) – 306 Henry St
  • Learn about planned giving opportunities over lunch with Executive Director of Planned Giving and Institutional Partnerships, Robert Patterson ’94. Free. Invite only. Advance registration required.

2 p.m. | Tour of Campus

  • Location: Meet at Brown Fountain Plaza – 300 Henry St
  • Stroll down memory lane beneath the oaks and maples and see new buildings, too. Free. Advance registration required.

3 p.m. | Woodland Cemetery Guided Tour

  • Location: Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave., Ashland, by the flagpole
  • Hear the stories of former RMC presidents, faculty, and others whose final resting place is in the beautiful and historic cemetery. Please wear comfortable shoes. Free. Advance registration required.

4-6 p.m. | “Gratitude and Lessons Learned” with Professor Ray Berry

  • Location: Pace Hall
  • Join Professor Ray Berry in Pace Hall as he reflects on his decades of teaching art at Randolph-Macon College. His presentation — called “Gratitude and Lessons Learned” — will coincide with a gallery showing in Flippo Gallery.

5:30-7:30 p.m. | Class of ’76 50th Reunion Happy Hour

  • Location: The Dalton House, 303 Caroline Avenue
  • $20/person for heavy appetizers and drinks. Advance Registration Required.

7:30-9 p.m. | Live Music & Dancing

  • Location: Brock Commons, Birdsong Café
  • The acoustic adventurers Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots, bluegrass, Texas swing, blues, and rock. Join us for an evening of music and fun! All are invited to this event,  sponsored by the Class of ’81. $10/person. Advance Registration Required.

Saturday, October 24

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Macon Mimosas Jazz Brunch

  • Location: Brock Commons Patio
  • Start the day off with the Macon Mimosas Jazz Brunch! Join us under the tent at Brock Commons for a delicious brunch, live music, and Macon Mimosas! $20/person for 2 mimosas and food. Additional drinks are available for purchase. Advance registration required.

Lot Opens at 10 a.m. | Homecoming Tailgate Tradition

  • Location: North North Brock Tailgate Lot – 400 N. Center St
  • Tailgating is always a highlight of Homecoming at RMC. Stroll through the tailgate lot to visit with friends at academic and activities-related tents. Prizes will be awarded for best decorations, best food, and most spirited! Free. 
  • Reunion Row will feature tents and more for those classes celebrating a milestone reunion. These tailgates will be in the front row of the grass lot adjacent to Hugh Stephens Field. 
    • Classes Celebrating Reunions: 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021, and 2026
    • Queen Barclay Tailgate – stop by to see Barclay!

5:30 p.m. | Boydton Society & Class of ’76 Cocktail Reception

  • Location: Brock Commons Patio Under the Tent
  • Kick off this special occasion with friendship and cocktails ahead of the Boydton Society Annual Meeting and Induction Ceremony. Cost is included in the price of dinner. Invite Only. Advance registration required.

6:15 p.m. | Boydton Society Dinner, Annual Meeting, & Induction of the Class of ’76

  • Brock Commons Patio Under the Tent
  • The Class of ’76, celebrating its 50th Reunion, will be formally inducted into the Boydton Society. Special recognition of those celebrating milestone reunions – 55th, 60th, 65th. We will also elect new officers. $40/person. Invite Only. Advance registration required.

Sunday, October 25

10:30 a.m. | Worship at DMUMC

  • Location: Duncan Memorial – 201 Henry St
  • Finish out your weekend in the Center of the Universe by attending Sunday morning worship at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Alumnus Reverend Stephen Hundley ’76 will bring the message. Free.
