Friday

12 p.m. | Legacy Planning & Smart Giving Luncheon

  • Location: Estes Dining Hall, 2nd floor – 306 Henry St
  • Learn about planned giving opportunities over lunch with Executive Director of Planned Giving and Institutional Partnerships, Robert Patterson ’94. Free. Advance registration required.

3 p.m. | Tour of Campus

  • Location: Brown Fountain Plaza – 300 Henry St
  • Stroll down memory lane beneath the oaks and maples and see new buildings, too. Free. Advance registration required.

3:30 p.m. | Walking Tour of the New Mid-Atlantic Railroad Park

  • Location: Brock Commons, Front Steps – 304 Henry St
  • New this year! Join us for a walking tour of Ashland’s newly opened Railroad Park and hear about the history of Ashland and its railway. Please wear comfortable shoes. Free. Advance registration required.

5:30-8:30 p.m. | Boydton Society Cocktail Reception, Dinner & Class of ’75 Induction Ceremony

  • Location: Birdsong Hall, Dalton Family Dining Room (2nd Floor) – 106 E Patrick St
  • The Class of ’75, celebrating its 50th Reunion, will be formally inducted into The Boydton Society. Classes celebrating milestone reunions – 55th, 60th, 65th—will be recognized. We will also elect new officers. $40/person. Advance registration required.

Saturday

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Macon Mimosas Jazz Brunch

  • Location: Estes Dining Hall – 306 Henry St
  • Start THE Game day off with the Macon Mimosas Jazz Brunch! Join us for food, live music, Macon Mimosas, a 360-degree photo booth, and more! $20/person for 2 mimosas and brunch. Additional drinks are available for purchase (with credit card only). Advance registration required.

Lot Opens at 10 a.m. | Homecoming Tailgate Tradition

  • Location: North Brock Tailgate Lot – 400 N. Center St
  • Tailgating is always a highlight of Homecoming at RMC. Stroll through the tailgate lot to visit with friends at academic and activities-related tailgates. See which one wins the prize for most spirited. Free.

1 p.m. | THE Game

  • Location: Day Field
  • Watch the Yellow Jackets football team take on the Hampden-Sydney College Tigers. Tickets are required and may be purchased through the RMC box office. Students may enter for free with their student ID.

12 p.m. | The Boydton Society is Invited to Watch THE Game from Birdsong Hall

  • Location: Birdsong Hall Balcony – 106 E Patrick St
  • Enjoy lunch and cheer on the Yellow Jackets from Birdsong Hall Balcony as they take on Hampden-Sydney College. Free. Invite only. Advance registration required.

Sunday

10:30 a.m. | Worship at DMUMC with The Reverend Dr. Rob Vaughn ’75

  • Location: Duncan Memorial – 201 Henry St
  • Finish out your weekend in the Center of the Universe by attending Sunday morning worship at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Service will be led by RMC alumnus Reverend Dr. Rob Vaughn ’75. Free.
