What’s one piece of advice you’d give to students for the college search process?
One big piece of advice I’d give to students for the college search process is to “test drive everything!” Check out all types of colleges—big universities, small schools, city campuses, etc. By exploring different options, you’ll get a better feel for what you like. Visit campuses, sit in on classes, and chat with students. It’s the best way to figure out which place feels like home and where you’ll be happiest.
Favorite memory from your own college experience?
My favorite memory from my college experience is my senior night of field hockey. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the end of my athletic career, but what made it truly special was having my sorority sisters, professors, and family there to cheer me on. It was a perfect reminder of the incredible community I was part of during my time at college.
What’s your go-to meal in the dining hall? (Estes, Jacket Java, or the Birdsong Grill)
Grilled cheese and tomato soup… and may mixed soft serve ice cream with raspberry syrup if I want a sweet treat.
