What’s one Piece of advice You’d Give to students for the college search process?
Be sure to write everything down once you have some downtime after your visit. It’s easy to forget the small details, but those often matter most. Things like the walkability of campus, whether the atmosphere felt lively or laid back, how updated the facilities were, and most importantly, how you felt while walking around. When it comes time to make your decision, you can look back on your notes and compare schools more clearly. This will help you figure out which campuses truly match what you’re looking for.
IN Your opinion, What sets RMC apart?
The strong sense of community and support. Having attended two large university campuses myself, I really value how intentional RMC is about making every student feel at home. From the moment you visit campus through graduation and beyond, you’re more than just a number. You’re part of a close-knit community where people know you and want to see you succeed.
What’s the best part of your job?
Without a doubt, it’s meeting prospective students. I love connecting with new people and hearing about where they are in their education journey. As a first-generation college student, I mostly relied on my high school teacher for guidance, and while my parents were incredibly supportive, they didn’t always know the intricacies and challenges of applying to college. Because of that experience, I developed a real passion for helping students navigate the process and supporting them in reaching their full potential.
Who Would play you in a movie?
Tina Fey. She’s witty, intelligent, organized, and has that approachable, relatable energy. She balances professionalism with humor effortlessly.
