The essay! I love reading students’ words straight from the source. It gives us the opportunity to better understand each individual’s story.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to students for the college search process?
Visit the schools you are interested in! There is no better way to get a feel for the campus than actually being there. When you do visit, pay attention to how you feel when you’re there. You are trying to find your “home away from home” for the next 4 years. If the environment doesn’t feel welcoming, safe, and comfortable, then it probably isn’t a great match for you.
Do you have any hidden talents? What are they?
I am surprisingly good at halfcourt heaves in basketball. If the opportunity to win a million dollars ever presents itself, I’ll be ready to knock it down.
