Randolph-Macon College is approved by the Virginia State Approving Agency (SAA) to offer educational benefits administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The Registrar’s Office serves as the College’s certifying office for VA education benefits and is responsible for certifying enrollment for eligible students.

Students using VA education benefits should:

  • Apply for benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Submit their Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and any required documentation to the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Notify the Registrar’s Office of any changes to their enrollment (such as adding or dropping courses, withdrawing, or taking a leave of absence), as these changes may affect VA education benefits.
  • Contact the Registrar’s Office with questions regarding enrollment certification.

Students eligible for Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 VA education benefits will not incur late fees or other penalties while awaiting payment from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, consistent with federal law.

For information about eligibility, the Yellow Ribbon Program, financial assistance, or applying for VA education benefits, please visit the Office of Financial Aid.

For additional information about VA education benefits, visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The College’s policies regarding veterans’ education benefits are available in the Academic Catalog.
