Guidelines
Randolph-Macon College encourages engagement across our social channels and will monitor all comments and posts. We ask that all users refrain from hate speech and profanity, and reserve the right to remove comments that fit the following topics:
- Posts/comments that harass, threaten or abuse others
- Posts/comments that contain offensive topics, photos or language
- Posts/comments containing profanity, racist, sexist, discriminatory or derogatory content
- Posts/comments for commercial advertisements
- Posts/comments that are spam
- Posts/comments featuring or promoting unlawful activity
- Posts/comments that promote misinformation
- Posts/comments that attack any group or individual, including other users, current and prospective students, faculty, staff or any other College employees
- Posts/comments that contain protected student information
Continued violations of the above guidelines could lead to the poster being blocked or banned. Randolph-Macon College may also remove “spam” or other off-topic comments and visitor posts that appear to be posted by automated social media accounts, also known as “bots.”
Randolph-Macon College is not responsible for, and neither endorses or opposes, comments and posts by users. Commenters are personally responsible for their own comments and other information posted to Randolph-Macon College pages and accounts.
