The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research supports Randolph-Macon College in the pursuit of its mission by collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting data to enhance institutional effectiveness. Additionally, the office provides analytical and informational support for strategic planning, academic program assessment, marketing, recruitment, retention and graduation.

Data Requests & Inquiries

Randolph-Macon College values data-informed decision-making and is committed to supporting the information needs of our campus community. To ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting, we kindly ask that all data requests be submitted through the IER Data Request Form.

We encourage you to first review the Fact Book, which contains commonly requested institutional data. If the information you need is not publicly available, please complete the form and provide clear, detailed information to help us process your request efficiently.

A staff member from the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research will follow up within two business days. Most requests are fulfilled within two weeks; however, turnaround time may vary depending on the complexity of the request and current volume.

Confidentiality and Responsible Data Use

All data shared through this process is considered confidential and must be handled in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Information may not be shared externally or used for purposes unrelated to official college functions. Requests involving sensitive or personally identifiable student data may be subject to additional review and approval.
