Randolph-Macon College "Your Right to Know"

The Office of Campus Safety is required to record certain categories of crimes that occur on and near the campus. In addition to crime information reported to the Colleges' authorities, Campus Safety also receives reports of criminal incidents from the Ashland Police Department. The report includes criminal incidents for the past three years and is distributed to the entire college community.

Additional copies are available upon requests in the Office of Campus Safety located at 203 Caroline Street. Criminal or suspicious acts and emergencies should be reported to Campus Safety immediately; in person, by telephone or by using one of the emergency call boxes strategically located around campus. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For emergencies dial 9-911, "0" for Campus safety from a campus phone or call (804)752-4710. Randolph-Macon College Campus Safety Officers are not sworn police officers. We do not make arrests. The department maintains a continuing, cooperative relationship with Ashland Police Department and other area law-enforcement agencies. The department coordinates all requests for services for emergency response to fire, medical, criminal and other incidents.
