Feb. 25: Richmond Symphony to Perform at R-MC

RSO Conductor Steven SmithThe Richmond Symphony Orchestra will perform at Randolph-Macon College on February 25, 2018 at 3 p.m. in Blackwell Auditorium, R-MC Center for the Performing Arts (205 Henry St.). Map and Directions

The RSO, under the direction of Conductor Steven Smith, will perform Schubert's Overture (in the Italian Style), Roussel's Concerto for Small Orchestra, Handel's Water Music, Suite No. 2, Walton's Façade Suite No. 2, Arturo Marquez's Danzon No. 4, and Milhaud's Le Boeuf sur le toit.

Bonus: R-MC Music Professor James Doering will lead a pre-concert lecture with RSO conductor Steven Smith prior to the concert. This event is free of charge and takes place at 2 p.m. in the Brock Commons SunTrust Theater (304 Henry St.).
