Jan. 21: Richmond Symphony to Perform at R-MC

Richmond Symphony Orchestra The Richmond Symphony Orchestra will perform at Randolph-Macon College on January 21, 2018 at 3 p.m. in Blackwell Auditorium, R-MC Center for the Performing Arts (205 Henry St.). Map and Directions

The RSO, under the direction of Conductor Steven Smith, will perform Salieri's Sinfonia (Veneziana), Norman Bolter's IOURS (for trombone and chamber orchestra), Crawford Seeger's Andante for Strings and Rissolty Rossolty, and Mozart's Symphony No. 38, K. 504 (Prague). Zachary Guiles, trombone.

Bonus: R-MC Music Professor James Doering will lead a pre-concert lecture with RSO conductor Steven Smith prior to the concert. This event is free of charge and takes place at 2 p.m. in the Brock Commons SunTrust Theater (304 Henry St.)
