Randolph-Macon is proud to offer riders whose passion is three-day Eventing the opportunity to continue to ride and compete while receiving an outstanding liberal arts education. Our location, in the heart of USEA Area II, gives us unparalleled access to some of the best professionals and competitions in the country. Most are less than a two-hour drive from R-MC.

The team enjoys training and traveling together to competitions as well as watching each other’s weekly lessons for more opportunities to learn. The team will also travel to nearby cross country courses for schooling in preparation for competition. There are numerous outstanding spots, all within an hour's drive.

The Eventing Team is based with our hunt seat team at Coventry Farm, a gorgeous facility 2.5 miles from campus.Three large arenas, including an indoor, and lots of space to ride out makes training and conditioning the event horse easy.Rider 205 jumps an obstacle during competition

Eventing Team Coach
The team trains with Ashley Adams. Adams has ridden through the 4* level, competing at the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event with her her off the track thoroughbred Vaunted, whom she brought up the ranks.  She cut her teeth as a working student for Kim Severson and traveled internationally with she and Winsome Adante. Ashley went on to work for two other US Olympians. She has been extraordinarily successful in producing a number of young horses into talented upper level international competitors. She has been competing at the top levels of the sport for over twelve years, and specializes in correctly educating young horses and riders to be their best competitive selves.
