Help expand the Yellow Jacket Hive by recruiting our next generation of students

Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the college are invited to refer and recruit qualified students to enroll at Randolph-Macon.  Members of the R-MC family who volunteer for this program will be Admissions Ambassadors. Accepted students recruited through the program will receive a $1,000 award per year for up to four years in the name of the Admissions Ambassador.

While we are thrilled to receive your referrals, please note that the referral deadline for high school seniors seeking fall admission is February 1st.

What are the details of the award?

The accepted student* will receive an annual $1,000 award from R-MC’s General Scholarship Fund**, which will be credited toward his/her tuition bill and renewed each year the student is enrolled with good academic standing and in compliance with the Student Conduct Code and Academic Integrity Code. 

*The student cannot be a member of the Ambassador’s immediate family.  

**Students who are referred more than once or by several ambassadors will receive one award in the name of both ambassadors 

How does the referral process work?

Ambassadors may refer students who would be newly identified prospective students for the College, including freshmen and transfer candidates with a reasonable chance of admission based on prior year accepted student credentials.  Ambassadors will be encouraged to maintain contact with the student throughout the process, reminding the candidate of approaching deadlines.

To refer a student complete the online form below. Please include all information you have on your prospective student. At a minimum, the Admissions Office needs all required fields in order to enter the prospective student into our database. You can also call us at 1-800-888-1762 or print and mail the completed form to R-MC Admissions, PO Box 5005, Ashland, VA 23005.

If you are referring a senior, the referral deadline is February 1. The application deadline for Fall 2019 admission is March 1.
