J-term 2019 Study/Travel Courses

Please check this site frequently – it is the most accurate source of information and is updated frequently!

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for registration; at the same time, students must also submit a signed (student's signature) add-form to the Registrar’s Office to be added to the course. This fee can be paid in cash, check, money order, or from a credit on a student’s account (please contact Ms. Wendy Farmer in the Business Office--to have her apply the credit prior to submitting your add form to the Registrar).
  • The $100 will be applied to the 50% deposit due by August 1 (unless an earlier deadline was established by the instructor). In the event the student changes to another study/travel course, the $100 deposit can be transferred to the new course unless funds have already been spent by the first instructor or funds are listed as non-refundable.
  • You also need to obtain the instructor’s signature for the courses that have an asterisk (*) before the title or "permission of the instructor."
  • See more details about the J-term billing procedures.
  • If you are enrolled in courses traveling together, you only pay one travel fee.

Stop by the Office of International Education in Haley Hall to ask any questions.

NOTE: Typically, in addition to airfare, lodging and group transportation overseas, all meals are included in the program costs.
