Registration Day Schedule

 June 22 & 29 Sample*

Families will follow one of several different schedules. We use this approach to keep our sessions engaging and to ease crowding. All schedules assume that guests are available from 8AM-5PM. We regret that due to the size and complexity of these days it is not always possible to alter schedules or allow for late arrivals/early departures.

Family & Student Schedule

Students and families attend events together from 7:30AM to 11:45AM

7:30- 8:00 AM   Check-in at Frank E. Brown Fountain Plaza

8:00 AM             President’s Welcome

8:15-9:45 AM    The First Year & Academic Experiences

The Dean of Academic Affairs, Registrar, and Director of New Student Transitions will lead families through a conversation that will cover - how R-MC is supporting students through the college transition, our core curriculum, and expectations for the course selection process taking place later in the day.

9:45-11:45 AM  The Yellow Jacket Checklist (YJC)

Students and families will be dismissed by group and proceed together through a series of steps. Some of these steps are practical (taking your R-MC ID photo) while others are tradition (signing your 4-Year Degree Guarantee with members of the President’s Cabinet).

Families and their students will be guided through different schedules for the remainder of the day. Families will be reunited with students at 5:00PM.

Both schedules follow.
