First Year Experience (FYE)

We live in an interconnected world. FYE brings together students and professors for an introduction to cross-disciplinary study in courses like The Mathematics of Design or Ethics and Capitalism.

Schapiro Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)

SURF introduces students to "real world" research scholarship, from proposal and grant request to professional presentation, in this annual summer program.

January Term

J-term offers a one-month, intensive opportunity to explore a topic in depth here on the R-MC campus or to join classmates in a travel-study or service-learning trip abroad to destinations such as China, France, Ghana and El Salvador.

Study abroad

Whether for a semester, a year, or a January (J-term) travel class, R-MC students explore the world through the college's robust study abroad program.

Internships

For nearly 30 years, R-MC has been placing students in career- and academic-focused internships locally, nationally, and internationally.

Capstone Project

Every major offers students the opportunity to undertake a capstone project such as independent research or an internship.

Agora Excavations

Join students from around the world in an eight-week summer experience in Greece, working as part of the archaeological team uncovering Classical history in the Agora.
