Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to students as scholarships, grants, loans and employment opportunities to help them accomplish something great - a college education. Financial aid at Randolph-Macon College is offered to support our goal of attracting well-qualified students and making an exceptional education affordable to them. Consider the following:
- 99% of our students receive some form of financial aid, totaling over $23,500,000 from all sources, including $10,960,000 of the College's own money.
- 50% receive awards based on financial need with an average award package of $20,297 (not including loans used to replace family contribution).
- 92% receive non-need-based scholarships or grants averaging more than $10,000, and 53% of this year's entering students received renewable academic scholarships ranging from $7,500 - $20,000.
- Any student who wishes to work on campus has the opportunity to do so.
- Monthly payment plans and other parent financing options are also available.
Many financial aid programs are based on a student's financial need, however academic scholarships and work study programs are available regardless of need. To determine your status, you'll need to complete our financial aid application process.
