Membership in a fraternity or sorority provides opportunities for students to broaden their educational experiences and to enrich and supplement their personal lives. Randolph-Macon College recognizes the intrinsic value of Fraternities and Sororities on campus. The Office of Student Activities and Greek Life promotes a Greek community built on strong student governance and a commitment to respect and the values of fraternity, fidelity, and civility.

The Greek system exists as a support system for thousands of men and women across the country and may provide some of the answers to your questions as you embark on this period of life. A fraternity or sorority can help personalize an individual's college experience by offering close friendships and support, scholastic assistance, hands-on experience in leading committees and managing budgets, exposure to potential careers through educational programs and discussions with alumni, and the chance to help the community through service projects.
