The SOLID Merit Program recognizes those organizations that make it a priority to
improve the organization, their membership, and actively participates in the R-MC
community. Organizations earn points through participation in selected workshops
and developmental opportunities, allowing them to achieve gold, silver, or bronze
level status. Each level of achievement provides benefits and rewards for the organization.

Student Organizations earn points for different accomplishments throughout the year.
Some points are as simple as registering/renewing your organization on time and
updating your OrgSync portal. Other points are awarded as members in the organization
attend workshops and other organization development opportunities provided by the
Office of Student Life and other offices around campus.
Points for the 2013-2014 year accrue until April 20, 2014.

Co-Sponsor an event with another organization* (10 extra points if it is with an
organization in a different category than yours) Limit 2 a year
* Co-Sponsorship Agreement must be filled out in the Office of Student Life
Once organizations accrue a certain level of points, they are placed in a reward
level category, these categories: Gold, Silver & Bronze. Each level receives
rewards based on the number of points they earn.
* Limit to 5 pizzas and 50 wings to the top 4 organizations
** 48 hour advanced access to room reservations for the 2014- 2015 academic year
*24 hour advanced access to room reservations for the 2014- 2015 academic year
