Emerging Leaders - Year 1Leadership Fellows will learn the major theories and trends in leadership through the leadership fellows course, self-selected activities, participate in community service, get involved in a priority organization on campus as well as begin work on their Co-Curricular Transcript and Personal Leadership Development Plan. Leadership Fellows will also participate in our signature Emerging Leader's Weekend during the summer prior to their matriculation. This pre-orientation program will introduce them to the leadership fellows program and to the R-MC Community.
Developing Leaders - Year 2Leadership Fellows will continue to explore the major theories and trends in leadership through the leadership fellows course, self-selected activities, broaden their participation in community service, and continue their involvement with their priority student organization. Fellows will also engage in a case study competition which will be peer reviewed and will reflect their knowledge of leadership theory and best practices. Also, Fellows will continue to develop their Personal Leadership Development Plan including their Co-Curricular Transcript, reflections journal, and components from the Four Year Career Development Plan.
Community Leaders - Year 3While Fellows will continue to explore and learn about leadership theories, they will also serve as peer educators and mentors to Fellows in the Emerging and Developing Leadership Fellows. Community Leaders will also participate in social justice training, continue to work on their Personal Leadership Development Plan, and begin work on their theme-based self-selected leadership project.
