Leadership Fellows creates a
Personal Leadership Development Plan. The Personal Leadership Development Plan is comprised of resources and opportunities which will enhance your Leadership Fellows Experience and create a holistic and tangible product to help you translate your co-curricular and leadership experiences to the world of work and your future endeavors. The Personal Leadership Development Plan culminates in the acquisition of a Certificate in Leadership Studies which you will receive with your Randolph-Macon College Degree.

Priority Organization Involvement Leadership Fellows select an organization to focus on during their tenure in the Leadership Fellows Program. Each fellow will use this organization as a laboratory to practice the techniques and theories learned in the program. A Fellow's priority organization may change during the course of their Leadership Fellows experience.

Leadership Fellows Advising Leadership Fellows are assigned a Leadership Fellows Advisor. The Leadership Fellows Advisor is a professional who assists each Fellow with leadership and involvement advice as well as helping to identify leadership experiences, offering resources, and preparing program materials.

The Edge: Career Development Plan Leadership Fellows will actively participate int he Randolph-Macon College Edge Initiative. Each Leadership Fellow will be prepared for the world of work beginning with the creation of their resume within weeks of joining the Leadership Fellows Program and culminating in career fairs and networking experiences prior to graduation. |

Co-Curricular Transcript The Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT), is a program for recording awards, scholarships, community service, educational workshops, programs, leadership activities, student government and organizations. By recording activities outside of the classroom, this CCT evolves to complement the academic transcript. Such involvement requires active participation in leadership experiences and must be assessed by an academic or administrative unit and confirmed by the Office of Student Life.

Leadership Reflection Journal/Blog Leadership Fellows will complete a minimum of (1) journal or blog entry a month reflecting on their leadership experiences. The Reflection Journal/Blog helps to develop writing/speaking skills, critical thinking, as well as serve as a way for leaders to chart their growth through the comprehensive four-year program.

Self-Directed Leadership Project Leadership Fellows, in their final two years, create a theme-based self-directed Leadership Project that demonstrates their understanding of leadership and complements their interests. Students will also present the results of their project to their peers and the campus community.

Certficate in Leadership Studies Leadership Fellows who complete the Personal Leadership Development Plan will receive the Certificate in Leadership Studies which will compliment their R-MC Degree. |
